START at 7th kerb joint from northern end of layby south of the 34th milestone on the B.1383. Proceed north through Quendon and Newport, straight on at roundabout junction of B1383/B1052 (approximately 1 mile north of Newport) and continue through Littlebury and Great Chesterford to Stump Cross roundabout (M) 9.83 miles. Turn left at first exit onto A.1301, cross straight over next two roundabouts whilst passing under A.11 flyover to the next roundabout at Hinxton Hall where straight on (with GREAT CARE due to shape of roundabout) to Sawston roundabout junction with A.505 (M & C), 12.25 miles. Turn round roundabout and retrace, passing under A.11, to Stump Cross roundabout where take second exit (M) onto B.1383. Retrace through Great Chesterford, Littlebury, Newport and Quendon to FINISH at surface water gully at centre of small green 100 yards north of the "Chequers P.H."
